Climate Policy Radar Labs is our home for piloting new tools for analysing climate law and policy data.

Who we are

We harness data science and artificial intelligence to build tools to help people discover, understand and generate data-driven law and policy insight. With open access to thousands of documents from every national government, augmented with intuitive features to help you explore them, our core research tools make it quicker and easier to find information on climate change laws and policies.

We’re a climate AI startup harnessing data science and artificial intelligence to build tools to help people discover, understand and generate data-driven law and policy insight. Our core research tool - a searchable database of over 5,000 documents and intuitive features to help you explore them - makes finding information on climate change laws and policies quicker and easier.

Why we’re experimenting

We launched Climate Policy Radar Labs to rapidly develop, share and learn from experimental prototypes that could lead to new features and technologies, and enhance our core tools. We’re taking an experimental approach so that we can:

  • Get proof of need for new features before implementing them
  • Develop approaches to reduce biases in our models and approaches
  • Iterate ways to improve our existing offering
  • Build the right thing in the right way by opening up our tools and models to scrutiny

How we evaluate experiments

We evaluate experiments based on analytics data and feedback. On each experiment’s page you’ll find a form to tell us your thoughts and an option for us to contact you. We’d love to have a follow-up conversation with you so that we can continue building the best tools to accelerate climate policy research.

We will build successful ideas into our core tools as we gather feedback on what approaches work and which don’t.

Experiment with us

We host our own experiments and will host prototypes from collaborators building on our technology and data. If you have an idea for datasets, code or tools that we should be exploring, we want to hear from you. Find out how to get involved.
